What is a CASA?

CASA volunteers (Court Appointed Special Advocates) stand up for the children in court. They examine the child(ren)'s case, talk to the child and the adults involved in the case and make a recommendation to the Judge for the best option for the child.  They can be a good ally for the foster parent in advocating for the best interests of the child in care.
